My Stuff and Memories By: Ashley R. Illustrated by:

I dedicate this to BCS. I would never be able to have my story published with out that school.

My life all depends on my possessions and memories. My sisters long board, my bike, and my blanket are some of my favorite objects that have been through everything with me. I would never be able to have remembered memories without them. With my memoirs they make me more knowledgeable and stronger.

I can still remember my first memory with my favorite blanket. It was white and had baby Looney Toons on it. It was my most favorite thing in the world until something happened. I was about three at the time lying on the floor watching TV with my dad and my sister, Brittany. There was a fire in the fire place behind me. I turned to see something funny on the TV then the fire made a big “POP” noise. But we all ignored it

The problem is was that there was a glowing piece of ash on my blanket. Then I put my head down because I was getting tried, but I didn’t know that the ahs was there, and felt a sting on my forehead. Then I let out a yelp my forehead was burning in a stinging way. My dad didn’t know what was wrong with me until he came over and looked at me. He saw the ash on my head and picked me up and carried me over to the sink.

He yanked paper towel out of the cabinet and put it on my forehead. My sister grabbed the blanket and rushed it over to my dad and showed it to him. I was not able to see what they did with it because my eyes where fogged up with tears. That was the first object that made me stronger and gave me warnings about fire.

Some of my greatest and worst memories are on my bike. I can always escape from everything on my bike. But there is just one turn that still to this day I can’t turn on. It’s all the way down the street where there is a cut off turn. I was about 8 that year. Two of the guys on my street and I were chasing each other on our bikes. We all had whistles to blow while going around the neighborhood to bug all the adults on the street.

The guys where a little ahead of me and slowed down to turn the corner that was at the end of the street. They successfully made it, but I had no way to slow down at this speed. So I just kept going while the whistle was still in my mouth. Then right at the turn my bike began to wobble and it tipped over with me doing a flip and landed on my back on the CEMENT.

I saw blood coming out of my mouth and a big pain. I remember walking to my neighbor’s car with my mouth bleeding with cuts everywhere in my mouth and I was missing tooth that had never been loose before. That was the first memory with my bike that made me stronger and that told me never go high speed around a corner.

The most recent and favorite object that I have had such a beautiful memory about is riding on my sister’s long board. That day was a descent summer day I was bored and had nothing to do. Then my sister came and asked if I wanted to go long boarding. I quickly answered “yes!” like my life depended on it. So, we where off. My sister tried to teach me all this stuff but for her it most have been like talking to a car because I wasn’t listening and wasn’t going to. I was on the board and I am control now.

I can remember the wind flowing through my hand and hair. I closed my eyes and all I could hear birds chirping and feel the sun beating down on me. It was a moment in paradise then I found out that I had to go eat lunch. I felt sad to leave the board but I felt good to ride it for the first time. That is one of my most recent and favorite object that has no meaning in a memory but in beauty.

My life all depends on all my stuff and memories. Some stuff I can remember more vibrantly like my long board, bike, and blanket and some are just a little spec in the back of my brain. I would never be able to have remembered memories without my stuff because with stuff and memoirs they can make me more knowledgeable and stronger.

THE END!! Thank you for everything everybody!
