I am part of a tradition, Which like a flowing river, Joins me to the past, Even as it carries me Into the future. Henry H.Kanemoto on Fly Fishing 1966
Tradition.. Fly fishing, a Joining Me to the past
Mom always said, “I think your dad would have liked all boys.” My sisters and I worked on the cars, built brick walls and did Everything a boy would be expected to do.
In my family, There were three traditions we Grew up with……. Picking huckleberries, Eating pasties, And FLY FISHING!
Dad started us out young…
. Dad always said, “Think like a fish.”
“Sneak up on the hole.”
As I grew So did my Love for Fly fishing.
Many go fishing all their lives without knowing it was not fish they were after. Henry David Thoreau
