Vital Signs: Using Your Data to Close the Gaps Figures and Tables © Catalyst
How to Use These Figures and Tables © Catalyst Open a blank PowerPoint presentation and save it with the file name of your choice. 2.Select the Catalyst Vital Signs figure you’d like to replicate and copy it to a slide in your new PowerPoint document. Or, copy the entire slide and adjust the chart to your format settings. 3.In your PowerPoint document, highlight the chart area and Right Click Edit Data. An Excel file will open with the raw data. 4.Now you can populate the chart with your organization’s data. If your data is in Excel format, you can paste it into the columns and rows. Or, you can enter it manually from your diversity reporting information systems. Resize the chart data range, and change the labels to suit your data (Column A and Row 1). 5.Now simply close the Excel data file and your changes will be reflected in the PowerPoint chart. Save changes and redesign your chart (labels, font, axes) as you’d like.
