STEM Summer Bridge 2011 Computer Networking & Printing Technology Mason Watts 7/25-7/28

Day 1 – 7/25 Networking: -Took a tour of the CAT North Building -Discussed networking terms, devices, and media -Learned how to make a Straight-Through cable Printing: -Learned Mac and Adobe InDesign basics -Created and printed personal business cards

Day 2 – 7/26 Networking: -Made two Straight-Through cables -Learned more network basics Printing: -Designed personal logos -Designed and printed notepads

Day 3 – 7/27 Networking: -Visited ARINC -Toured ARINC facilities -Learned about their company and network Printing: -Cut and shrink-wrapped business cards

Day 4 - 7/28 Networking: -Set up a basic networking of two computers and a switch -Made two crossover cables Printing: -Designed, printed, and cut books
