Landforms: Valley, Plain, and Plateau Group #3 report Members: Paulo Joquiño, Sean Co, Axel Ngsy, and Brian de Guzman

Valley Description : Flat land between two mountains Example: Marikina Valley, Marikina; Cagayan Valley,northeastern part of Luzon ( biggest Valley) Importance: Mountains in the valley protect the flat land from big storms, it’s also good for plantation Conservation: Do not cut trees to avoid erosion

Plain Description: A long, flat, wide landform Example: Metro Manila, NCR ;Davao City, Davao Importance: for business and residential use, also good for farming Conservation: dispose the garbage properly to avoid flood and don’t pollute air and rivers

Plateau Description : a plain on an elevated place Example: Tagatay, Cavite ; Baguio, Benguet Importance : Tourism and agricultural Conservation : don’t pollute
