Modified Cars DC Dragsters

Procedure Choose a partner. (1’s ok … 3’s not ok) Develop a plan for a car (1 class) Research and Design List of materials Who supplies materials & components We have access to the production lab on Days 1 and 2 (Beginning next cycle)

Procedure Use a motor of your choice With your partner you must build an electric car made for speed. Cars must have a switch to start the car and have a light on the car

Procedure… We will begin construction of the cars on Monday May 2nd and end construction Thursday May 16th. We will race the cars on Thursday May 16th during second period of the double.

Procedure… Also, each group is to design a race track. The track that is chosen will be built and the winners will be assessed 5 Bonus points. Keep in mind the cars do not have steering

Materials… Any materials from previous cars Motor Batteries, wires, lights and switches Scrap wood from the lab or materials brought from home.
