You Only Get One Chance… “You only get one chance to make a first impression!” On your slate, record what you think this statement means. Share with your partner what you have recorded on your slate. Discuss the similarities between your ideas.

This report will show how they are both right. Snakes can be very scary, but they also can do some things, like “tasting” the air and “seeing” heat, that make them really cool. `

Can you identify the change? What if you could “see” heat? What if you could “taste” air? Well, snakes can! Seeing heat and tasting air are just a few of the fascinating characteristics of snakes. Many find snakes to be scary, but with amazing skills such as these, I find them to be very cool! If you said QUESTION, then you are right!

Can you identify the change? Snakes are terribly misunderstood and passed off as scary and creepy creatures. However, I think that they are fantastic pets! While their glowing eyes and flickering tongues make them look a bit frightening, they are actually using these attributes to help them search for food.
