Foreword by Daniel Gaughan As leader of the Target Party, I present our manifesto to the members of The Trinity School. I want to present our ideas that will achieve the best for our citizens. We will succeed if we try. We can make our country a better place if you help us too! We can’t do anything without you. WE AIM FOR THE BEST!

Health by Joseph Draper As secretary for Health I propose: Fund research into finding a cure for smoking and Alzheimers. Provide free sports facilities for all (gyms and swimming pools). Make bigger hospitals so more people can be treated and waiting lists are reduced. Fund research into natural remedies and cures. Reduce the hours doctors work by employing more doctors. Employ more dentists to reduce waiting lists. Reduce salt and sugar in food for the young and elderly. Provide more sheltered housing for the elderly.

Education by Kaitlyn Richardson As secretary for Education I propose: Increase the time spent in school for sport, drama, singing, dance and ICT. Provide more lunchtime and playtime activities. Build more schools to reduce class sizes. Introduce more languages to the curriculum. Teach more science lessons, especially chemistry. Allow children to choose the subjects they want to take and not have to study ones they don’t. Increase the amount of activities on the yard during break and lunch times.

Defence by Michael Jacobs As secretary for Defence I propose: Joining together with other countries to fight against terrorism. Improve airport security to stop terror suspects leaving / entering the country. Employ more police and give them greater powers to stop and search. Recruit top IT specialists to fight cyber crime. Recruit more people in to the armed forces by paying better wages. Fund better resources for the Armed Forces to ensure they are battle ready.

Poverty by Elke Jennings As secretary for Poverty I propose: Increase the wages for the lowest paid jobs. Provide more jobs for the poor / homeless. Build cheaper houses so more people can afford them. Create more food banks so nobody goes hungry. Provide more aid to the poorer parts of Africa Build wells and provide water pumps for clean water. Provide medical aid for African countries (doctors/medicine). Build housing to support the poor who have nowhere to live.
