CCAF – Community College of the Air Force Differences between the JST and the CCAF Transcript CCAF is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Admissions offices often require a transcript for the CCAF before an Admissions decision is made, however the JST is not a required document CCAF Transcripts are usually treated the same as any accredited institution CCAF course descriptions are in a course catalog, whereas other branches are only listed in the ACE guide. (Both are listed in TES, the Air Force is under ‘Community College of the Air Force’ and other branches are under ‘American Council on Education’) Learning outcomes NOT included in CCAF catalog (therefore getting a syllabus could be difficult as they are not typically provided to the student)
CCAF – Community College of the Air Force Finding more information: CCAF course catalog is linked here: Look under the drop down called “Publications” for the course catalogs online Course descriptions are also located on the TES system under “Community College of the Air Force” Please note – “The Air University is the Intellectual and Leadership Center of the Air Force”. Within Air University, the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) have separate registrar offices.
