How the Steamboat Worked ❏ High pressured engines (above decks) ❏ Boilers were filled with water ❏ Burning coal made the steam ❏ The steam could power the propeller

Advantages ❏ Spacious rooms for passengers. ❏ Dependable on long distance. ❏ Good for shipping goods.
