 Save used plastic bags for another time  Wash out jars and glass bottles and bring them to the bottle bank  Recycle all paper, cardboard and plastic bottles without the lid

 Turn off heat when not needed  Keep doors closed so cold air does not get in  Insulate walls and attic to keep your house warm

 Replace bulbs with energy saving bulbs  Plug out plugs when they are not in use  Do not leave computers or televisions on standby

o If you are in walking distance from a shop cycle or walk instead of driving to the shops o Save money on petrol by walking or cycling

 Use a dishwasher and washing machine when full  When you wash the dishes it wastes a lot of water
