Science Inquiry Tools Big Idea!!! To plan and carry out an experiment, scientists observe and ask questions.

Science Inquiry Tools This rocket won’t travel into space, but it works just like rockets that carried people to the moon. How do rocket scientists try out their designs? What variables can they test to make a rocket fly farther and faster? What questions do this father and son need to ask before they launch their rocket? How does this relate to the Big Idea??

Science Inquiry Tools Kite fliers around the world are always trying to set new records? What are some questions you might ask about kite flying and setting records? Setting a record depends on accurate measurements.

Science Inquiry Tools Using a spring scale

Science Inquiry Tools Important Questions Echo answer questions in notebook. What are Science Inquiry tools used for? What are three tools that are not used to measure matter? When would you use a ruler and when would your use a tape measure?

Science Inquiry Tools Critical Thinking Question!!!! You have to measure 1.5 liters ( 1 ½ liters) of water, but our measuring cup has marks up to only 1 liter. What will you do?????
