Rainforests are forests with tall trees, warm climate, and lots of rain In some rainforest it rains more than one inch every day Rainforest are found in Africa, Asia, Australia, and Central and South America Rainforest is a home to over half of the animals on Earth Helps keep the worlds climate stable

Learning Objectives ~ Students will be able to connect with other cultures and discover similarities and differences with people around them, and people living in the rainforest. ~ Students will learn who to write to help try and save the rainforest. ~ Students will plant a tree together, in order to help the ecosystem. ~ Observe animals in their natural habitat
Activities Students will explore the lives of those living in the rainforest and take these customs home to their families and record responses. write letters to organizations to help save the rainforest. as a class plant a tree for a lost tree. explore the animals and insects around the children's neighborhood and compare to those in the rainforest.
