Due Wednesday, September 14 th Your three sketches: Match your words Have some degree of complexity Show media experimentation Show that you have done some research Use color or shading to show dimension Move you towards a complex and intriguing (interesting) art work! Begin the process of moving to a large rough draft combining your words together to create a finished work. Large rough draft with media experiments due Tuesday, September 20 th.

Work from large to small Block in large shapes Look for simple geometric shapes in more complex shapes. Sketch lightley Experiment with shading & color Keep in mind the principles of design; harmony(repeats),variety (change), balance, emphasis. Make your work complex and intriguing.
