Presentation transcript:

On the Day of the Final… These desks will be in a circle with each team at a location in the circle You will present your Museum at least 6 times. We’ll have two practice runs to make sure your presentations are 4 minutes long. You will present to Me and to 3 (or 4) celebrity judges. You will also fill out a self assessment so bring a pen! Please do not talk at this timeMay 24/28 Museum Final Info!

Be ready to take your finals home… You will need to take your finals home on the day of the final. If you leave it here, it will be recycled.

Today is a work Day I will be coming around to help you finalize your work for the Final. I can answer questions and help you make choices if you aren’t sure. You can make changes to your work between now and next week, so if you get an idea or want to make something better, go ahead.

Book Returns I have signed us up to return books. If you want to return your book next week you can keep it now, and return it after finals. Just make sure you remember to do that or you will get a fine.

Presenting your finals… You will present your finals to me and to 3- 5 different judges. You only have 5 min. There will be a timer and I will stick to it. You want to cover the most important info in your thesis and 3 rooms. You won’t read everything, just cover the highlights. You can use notecards or any other guide to help you.

Think about what you want to say Write down the highlights of your Museum room. What do you want to make sure the Judges hear about. Think about how you will present info so that it makes the most sense. Make sure you know what your Thesis is! Start there!

Timed Presentation I will set the timer for 5 minutes. Practice presenting your info. Make sure your WHOLE group goes before the timer goes off!
