Pick Up Your Work Pick up your paper from last class Read over what you wrote Is that still the goal you want for your last film or is there something else you would rather focus on If you were not here last class write down a goal related to your final film that you want to accomplish

Review Comments Review the comments from last film…with your old film groups

New Groups Get in the groups you see on sis… Now let’s play some games

Supplies for Games A pieces of paper A pen or pencil Sticky notes at your table Ready?

Draw your neighbor You have 30 seconds Draw as fast as you can

What happened… People’s responses to drawing their neighbor: – Sorry – Laugher – Hiding the picture or sharing it?

Make 30 circle on your paper Make 30 circles on your paper the size of quarters Wait for instructions …

Fill in the Circles You have 1 minute to fill in the circles with something different in each one

Circles How did you fill your circles? Did you find a pattern or theme? Did you scribble? Other ideas?

Target practice Each group get’s a shot to hit the target on the board You have two darts and one launcher Ready? Go!

What does play do? Playing get’s you ready to be more creative You are more likely to share To talk to each other And brain storm once you know how to play ….regressing to childhood like state

Now… Take some sticky notes and a music device…with headphones On your own, listen to music and come up with as many one liners as you can of songs you like…. ….Let’s watch some example videos first to wake up our brains

Music Makes You Talk Film Needs to Include: – Beginning, Middle, and End…it needs to have a story to it, so your audience can follow along – At least 6 or more shot styles and angles – 8 or more different song ‘parts’ – Everyone in your group needs to be in the film – A title, credit to all the songs you used, and transitions when needed between clips

Time Line 2-3 days to storyboard 3-5 days to film 3-5 days to edit

Next Class Storyboards DUE at the end of class

Exit Pass Turn in your goals(the paper from last class) Turn in the activities we did(drawing each other and the 30 circles) Turn in your storyboard and sticky notes(put this one inside your group folder) See you all on Monday!
