Rainbow Children’s Centre HOME SAFETY SCHEME Initiated April 2009 Offering subsidised safety gates, fire guards and home safety kits with FREE fitting

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA  Families live within Rainbow reach area  Child under 4  Receiving one of the following benefits: Income Support, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, Income based job seekers allowance or Working tax credits

FREE FITTING All safety equipment fitted FREE by our Caretaker/Maintenance worker Brian Petty. Brian received training via Keighley Volunteer Centre – Grassroots Team Pre-booked fittings Monday to Thursday.

STATISTICS  284 families have received safety equipment through The Rainbow Children’s Centre since April  43 families have received a Smoke Alarm check following direct request to Rainbow Children’s Centre
