Speaking practice: Task 1 1. What do you like to do in your free time? “I really only have one hobby which is playing football, so when I’m not working or studying I like to play a few matches with my friends, it really helps me relax and it’s good exercise too.” Class 3

Speaking practice: Task 1 2. Do any of your friends share the same hobbies? “Well we have some in common. For instance, my best friend and I both love to play computer games and listen to music but that’s it. I don’t mind though, because I like to spend time by myself when I unwind.” Class 3

Speaking practice: Task 1 3. Have your leisure activities changed since you were a child? “Of course they have. I don’t watch cartoons anymore, nor do I read comics. However I’ve always liked to swim in my free time so I guess that’s never changed.” Class 3

Speaking practice: Task 1 4. Do you prefer to spend your free time alone or with other people? “I suppose it depends on what I’m doing. I work out a lot in my free time but never with other people, but I also love playing tennis with my friends.” Class 3
