ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT Student Growth in Reading September 2014 – June 2105 = 22% increase September 2014 – September 2015 = 10% increase Student Growth in Math September 2014 – June 2015 = 105 more topics mastered September 2014 – September 2015 = 25 more topics mastered

MODIFICATIONS TO THE SBCS PROGRAM Increased the amount of time for literacy instruction for all students Added research labs to our content area materials to increase the amount of accessible text for students Connected the writing curriculum with the content area material to increase relevance for students Added read aloud instruction to the middle level program All middle level students have a reading class and a language arts class Implemented the Everyday Math 4 program in 3 rd – 5 th grades to complete CCSS alignment
