Communication Infinite Campus is our online grading and communication system Remind App and Remind.com is our safe communication app Upcoming assignments, student work (photos, videos), assignment descriptions, and comments I encourage students and parents to use Infinite Campus and Remind to view upcoming assignments and personal comments I will also post the dancers work on Remind so all have access to their child’s progress in real time

Grading System Point system Daily Participation: coming prepared, effort, behavior. Tests: technique demonstration, written Performances Quizzes: weekly vocabulary, dance theory and dance history Mid-term written and pilates mat demonstration Final written and dance demonstration Students final grade is calculated by: Total points earned Total points possible

Late Work Policy Students will earn half credit for late homework assignments 10 points will be deducted a day from late projects and larger assignments Students’ grades are based on total points earned-late work is better than no work

Extra Help Opportunities I am available to offer extra help, review choreography and offer internet access. Before school 7:30-8:30 Lunch

Homework Remind app will detail all homework assignments and links Homework can be least 3 times a week Students should be reviewing choreography and techniques in class minutes per night Late homework-half credit More than 1 day late-no credit LATE HOMEWORK IS BETTER THAN NO HOMEWORK!
