Your AR Log is your library pass for AR business. Log should be completed BEFORE coming to the library. For any other business, students must have a pass or note from a staff member stating a purpose for coming to the library.
Students are allowed to check out two books for a two-week time period. Students are limited to two trips to the library per day. Students may RENEW (re- check) books for two weeks as needed.
The due date will be stamped in each book to help students avoid late fines. The fine for overdue books is 10 cents per day per book up to a fine cap of $5.00 per book.
Students owing fines for late books will have one week to make a payment before check-out privileges are lost. Overdue notices and fine notices will be sent at least monthly as a courtesy, but fines are owed whether notices are received or not. Fines can be forgiven for excused absences Students who are suspended or at ECAP are still responsible for returning books on time and for paying library fees. Fines are carried over from year to year. No check out will be allowed until the previous year’s fines are paid.
Lost or damaged books: Students must pay the cost of the book plus a $3.00 replacement fee. Students who find a lost book within 30 days of payment for that book will receive a full refund minus replacement fee or any fines accrued.
