 Space shuttle Columbia was launched (January 16,2003) the disaster (April 12,1981) first launch. It was launched at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

 Rick Husband, William McCool, Michael Anderson, David Brown, Kalpana Chawla, Lauren Clark & Ilan Raman.

 The outcome was that the mission failed and Columbia shuttle crashed in 73 seconds.

 They where going to get information from space.

 Ilan Ramon was the first Islam in space.  The temperature and pressure gauges went off scale and made the shuttle crash.  The first launch was April 12, 1981  It has had 28 flights.  7 astronauts were killed during the disaster.  There was hills named after the crew members.
