About Anne Frank Anne Frank wrote a diary about what happened during the holocaust while in hiding. She was born on June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany Her parents names were Otto and Edith Frank, her sisters name was Margot. She lived in a secret attic apartment for two years. She was discovers on August 4, 1944 and later died in a concentration camp.
About the Holocaust The Holocaust was a major event in history were Adolf Hitler killed millions of Jews throughout Germany. There were many concentration camps where Hitler kept the Jews and gave them close to nothing to eat. The Jews would be told they were going to take a shower when really they were being taken to poison to be killed.
Anne Frank and the Holocaust On July 1942, Anne Franks Jewish family went into hiding, later along with four others. On August 4, 1944, her and the others in hiding were discovered and taken to concentration camps in Holland, Poland, and Germany. Anne’s father, Otto, was the only person of the eight in hiding to survive the camps. Anne and Margot died of typhus in March 1945, in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, only a few weeks before the liberation.
Today… People are not judged based on their religion as much as they used to be, other than Muslims in America today. Recent events are causing many uprisings in Afghanistan and can cause future problems.
