NORTH DAKOTA STUDENT ASSOCIATION STRUCTURAL CHANGES IN LEADERSHIP

Proposed Changes PRESIDENT  $5500 (change to $5000)  $500  Appoint Administrative Assistant (was an elected position) $500  Proposed change to $750  Recording of meeting minutes  Distribution of meeting minutes and other information from the executive team  Archive all meeting minutes and information for the organization as per NDUS standards and guidelines  Appoint Governmental Affairs Position (Lobbyist)  Appoint Web Director VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE & OPERATIONS (Internally Focused – Sara)  Supervise the Council Reps (in collaboration with the President)  Campus Communication (internal connection focused):  Actively participate in Skype meetings/conference calls between regularly scheduled in-person NDSA meetings  Outreach to the institutions (join President in some of the site visits as able to)  Assist President in connectivity efforts with the NDUS administration and State Board of Higher Education (helping them find information we are publishing).  Act as Administrator of the Assembly in lieu of the President (back-up role for the President internally)  Financial Duties: budget/vouchers, and also serve as a representative on the Administrative Affairs Committee (pending approval by the NDUS administration)  Duties during a meeting: Work with the VP of Communication and Outreach on clickers and voting VICE PRESIDENT OF COMMUNICATION & OUTREACH (Externally Focused – Bob)  Supervise Public Relations Director and Website Director in terms of content(in collaboration with the President)  Campus Communication (technology and outreach focused):  Coordinate Skype meetings/record meetings  Collaborate with website and tech affairs rep on ways to increase connectivity by utilizing technology as part of our operational infrastructure  Assist President in utilizing technology for outreach to NDUS administration and State Board of Higher Education  Act as Representative of NDSA in lieu of the President (back-up role fpr the President externally)  Meeting/Host School Duties: guide host school in room reservation based on rosters,  Duties during a meeting: Work with the VP of Communication and Outreach on clickers and voting CHIEF OF STAFF ($1500) VICE PRESIDENT ($3000) $500 + $ $3000 = $5000$2500
