Team Magics Course Information… Absences: Absences: If you are absent, it is your responsibility to find out what you missed. You have the same number of days you were absent to make up work. (If you missed 2 days, you get 2 days to make it up.) Late Work: If you fail to complete an assignment, you have 5 school days to make it up. After 5 days, a zero will show up in the grade book. (Late work starts with half credit.)

Hall Passes: Hall Passes: Each students will receive 15 hall passes for the quarter. Passes can be used for the restroom, locker, borrowing materials from the teacher, etc. Remaining passes can be turned in for extra credit at the end of the semester. Each hall pass is worth 5 points. Students can turn in up to 4 passes per class, earning up to 20 points for each class. Tardies: Tardies: Promptness is essential for success. Therefore, students will receive a teacher detention each time they are tardy to class. Detentions will be served after school from 2:35 – 3:00.

Cell Phone & Electrical Device Policy… 1 st Time 1 st Time: It is sent to the office and held until the end of the day. 2 nd Time 2 nd Time: It is sent to the office and held for parent pick-up. 3 rd Time 3 rd Time: It is held until the end of the year. * The Bottom Line: Don’t have them out in school.

Dress Code… The dress code policy and consequences are outlined in the student handbooks. Team Magics will consistently monitor students for dress code violations and follow the guidelines listed in the handbook. Evaluation: Evaluation: Students will be graded on assignments turned in, with varying point values. The following grading scale will be used by all team teachers. Grading Scale: 98 – 100 A+ 93 – 97A 90 – 92 A- 88 – 89 B+ 83 – 87B 80 – 82 B- 78 – 79 C+ 73 – 77C 70 – 72 C- 68 – 69 D+ 63 – 67D 60 – 62 D- 59 and belowF
