MY FAVOURITE CLOTHES My Jeans and Flat Cap

Jeans Jeans are made in many different styles to suit your style. For example, ripped jeans, normal jeans, skinny jeans, old fashion jeans and much more. Jeans have never gone out of fashion because fashion stylists have kept making different types of jeans. Jeans are made for girls and boys and to suit all ages.

History of Denim Jeans Jeans started to be popular to teenagers in the 1950s. Now jeans are very popular to all ages all around the world. In America alone they spent $14 billion on jeans in 2004 and spent $15 billion in The Americans are very passionate about jeans. Denim jeans are normally made from cotton.

WHERE COTTON COMES FROM Cotton comes from plants often grown as a summer crop. Cotton prefers hot summers with not much humidity and a lot of sunshine. In Australia, most Cotton farms do the picking in September, October and November.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT COTTON It’s soft and comfortable You don’t pay to much for it It’s well mixed with other materials I like the way they can make different types of clothes with cotton

Flat Cap Most teenagers like flat caps because like jeans they are a very casual thing to wear. Flat caps are also made to fit kids as well. Flat caps are normally worn when the person who is wearing it is also wearing casual clothes. My flat cap is made from acrylic.

Acrylic Fibers Acrylic fibers are made from synthetic fibers which are also made from polymer. To be called acrylic in the U.S, the polymer must have at least 85% acrylonitrile monomer. The Dupont corporation created the first acrylic fibers in 1941 and trademarked them in the name “Orlon”.

What's Cool About Acrylic It’s one of the many materials that makes hats and other clothing. It’s a good material because it looks good and it is long lasting. For making clothes acrylic is not as popular as cotton or wool.
