Opening Screen Title bar—program name & file name Menu bar—pull-down menus Standard toolbar—icons for common tasks Formatting toolbar—alignment, type styles Insertion point—where typing will start Scroll bars—move through application Status bars—info like page # or slide # Taskbar—shows Start and open programs Task pane—contains common commands
