6 Integrated Managing for Results Practical Tips for Scheduling 1. Start with activities that are mandatory and have a fixed timing (such as submission of the Annual Report) 2. Work backwards from those dates For Example: In order to submit the Annual Report, when should the Portfolio Review take place? In order to conduct the Portfolio Review, when should we collect our performance data? 3. Keep vacation schedules and holidays in mind 4. Be realistic!

Post your Calendar/Task Schedule on a flip chart  3.Think about the Mission and MEMS information on the following 2 topics: 1. Management Structures/Roles 2. Information Technology  4. Brainstorm and list your ideas on those 2 topics on a flip chart for review
