PRESIDENT’S GOLD SCHOLARSHIP $18,000 over four years (or $23,000 in 5 year double degree programs) $3,000 in first year Three or four additional years at $5,000 per year if maintain an annual GPA 10.5 or higher in 5 full credits over one academic year (September through August annually) Open to all faculties Students with 95% average or higher based on midterm or final grades
Based on financial need Maximum value: $2000 Application opened in early December Complete the online form through LORIS by: April 18th, :59pm ENTRANCE BURSARY
OTHER AWARDS & SCHOLARSHIPS Refer to the Student Awards database for information on other competitive awards and scholarships available to all students; To be considered for all other university awarded scholarships, students may submit an “Entrance Student Profile” Opens in mid June and closes at the end of July. Watch your “mylaurier” account for notification.
ONTARIO TUITION GRANT PROGRAM Receive $1830 in funding to help off-set financial costs for attending a post-secondary institution Funding disbursed in 2 installments. One per semester/maximum of 2 terms Criteria: Students must be enrolled full time Students must be within 4 years of high school graduation Family income must be less than $160,000 OSAP students automatically assessed for assistance. LAURIER WORK STUDY PROGRAM What is LWSP? Part-time work opportunity on campus First-come, first serve Needs based Funding between $2000 to $3000 annually How do I apply? Visit the Student Awards office website early in the academic year as there is normally a waiting list
