Create a new word The fast moving word association game  Form equally sized teams  Create a new letter  What does it look like – lower and upper case?  How is it pronounced?  Form a word with this letter - a new word  Draw this new word  Feedback to the group

Engaging with Employers

Speed dating style  In your teams:  Ask a question each to someone at your table including your business volunteer.  Move around the table to ensure everyone has asked a question  What have you found out about each other  How can that help you in the future?

What is LinkedIn to you now? Discuss opportunities and ideas Decide on three main advantages Present back to the wider team

Critique your profile  Work with the business volunteer to improve your profile.  Identify with them 3 areas for improvement.  Make those changes on your LinkedIn profile.

What next? In your teams come up with as many ideas as possible – choose two to feedback  Who should I look to connect with?  What information should be in my profile?  What else could I communicate on LinkedIn?  What do employers look at on LinkedIn?  What do I need to avoid on social media?
