SMS Module This Add on has been developed to provide facility to Send SMS to your Customers / Party. We can Send SMS for Bill Due, Sales Orders, and Sale Bill etc and if you want to send SMS for Outstanding Receivable bill Amount to any Customer, you can directly send it through Outstanding Receivable Report, Ledger Statements and for specific group also.

Features :- We can Send SMS to our Customer of their Accounting Details. We can Create Templates as per our need to send SMS. This module/add-on has been developed to Send SMS through any Voucher and Reports like Outstanding Receivable Report, Ledger Statements and for Specific groups. We can send SMS from all kind of Reports, that are available in Tally.ERP9. We can send Single or Multiple SMS to our Customers. Customers can see the alert message on their mobile phone as per your defined Templates for SMS.

To Activate the Add-on. For Tally.ERP 9 Series A versions greater than Release 3.61 F11: Feature > F6: Add-Ons Set “Yes” to the option “Enable SMS Module?” Screen shot for activating Add on is given below.

Set “Yes” to the option “Enable SMS Module” then it will open below window, from there you will set the Author key, Sender ID, and Route according to SMS website vendor and you can choose your vendor to buy SMS package by your own and we will change your Authorization Key, Sender ID and Route and integrate it with your Vendor, see the screen shot. Below screen shot is just for an example.

Important: While Creating Party Ledger and fill Mailer Details part with their mobile number, which is compulsory to send SMS. 1.SMS from Outstanding Reports: If you want to send SMS through Outstanding Report then enable the Option “Outstanding Report Configuration” to “Yes” and new window will get open from there you can “Create SMS Templates“ for one time and if you want to change it you will be able to change as per your need and then you can send SMS through Outstanding Report.

Details to configure SMS: In Prefix you will set customer or employee SMS Format In Description it will fetch Party Ledger Name. In Method it will automatically set the Method Name. You will see the Preview on SMS and Its Length. Now Go to “Gateway of Tally” > “Display” > “Statements of Accounts” > “Out standings” > “Receivables”. Select Particular Party by pressing “space” or All Party’s by pressing “Ctrl + Space” then press “Send SMS” Button or “Ctrl + S” to send SMS, Party will get SMS in their mobile phones as per you defined in the “Outstanding Report configuration”

2. Group Wise SMS : If you want to send Group Wise SMS then enable the Option “Group SMS Configuration” to “Yes” and new window will get open from there you can “Create SMS Templates According to your need” and then you can to send Group Wise SMS, screen shot given below.

After Enabling “Group SMS Configuration”, you can see one Menu in “Gateway of Tally” i.e., “Group SMS” from where you can send SMS Group Wise, screen shot as shown below:

Go to Menu “Group SMS” and Select your group here.

Select Particular Party by pressing “space” or All Party’s by pressing “Ctrl + Space” and then press “Send SMS” Button or “Ctrl + S” to send SMS, Party will get SMS in their mobile phones as per you defined in the “Group SMS configuration”, screen shot as shown below.

3.SMS from Ledger Statements: If you want to send SMS from Ledger Voucher Reports then you have to enable option “Ledger SMS Configuration” set to “Yes” and you will get new window opened, ”Create your Own SMS Templates” as per your need, screen shot as shown below:

After “Ledger SMS Configuration”, go to “Gateway of Tally” > “Display” > “Accounts Book” > “Ledger”, press “Send Button” or “Ctrl + S” to send SMS. Party will get SMS as you have set the format in the above configuration, as shown in the screen shot below.

After pressing Button “Send SMS” then it will open below window and it will automatically fetch “Party Name“, “Mobile No.”, “Closing Balance” and “SMS Text” as per created templates and it will generate SMS preview, press enter to send SMS.

4.Send SMS through Voucher: Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info > Voucher Types > Alter > Sales/ any Voucher. Set “Yes” to the option “Enable SMS?”

After you click “Yes” to the option “Enable SMS” then it will open below Window, from where you can “Create your own templates” according to your Requirement as shown in the screen shot below.

Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounting Vouchers > Sales Voucher. If you want to send SMS during entry, then you can Set “Yes” to the option “Send SMS after Save?”

The Above process you can able to do in other Voucher Types like, Purchase, Purchase Order, Sales, Sales Order, Credit Note, Debit Note, Payment, Receipt etc. If you set “Yes” to the option “Send SMS after Save” then it will open below window and it will automatically fetch “Party Name“, “Mobile No.”, “Bill Amount” and “SMS Text” according to your created Templates and will generate SMS Preview, press enter to send SMS.
