Presentation transcript:

 For our office, we will be spending under $5000.  Our goal is to make our office ergonomically friendly.

 The cost of this desk is $1959.  The width of this desk is 142cm, the height is 99 cm, and the depth is 248 cm.

 The desk has a slide out keyboard.  It will help us work in the ideal typing position because the desk is 30” in height.

 The position will help to decrease muscle fatigue.  It will lower the chances of Carpal Tunnel.  This desk will allow us to work in the correct posture to keep your health good.

 The cost of this chair is $  We are able to adjust the height, and we are able to lock the chair in multiple positions.

 This chair has a padded back, as well as bonded- leather armrests.  This will make us more comfortable!  It will help our back because of the padding.

 Apple iMac 27" 3rd Gen Intel Core i5 3.2GHz Computer  The cost is $2000

 This iMac comes with a wireless keyboard and a mouse so that you can adjust the positioning of your body.  We won’t have to worry about cords, as there are none for the keyboard and mouse.  It has special features and coating that helps reduce reflection by 75%, so your eyes will have less reflection and sharp graphics and visuals.  It is the newest one of all of the iMacs.

 We are going to purchase a $108 desk lamp.  The height of this lamp is 21”, meaning that it isn’t too tall.  The lamp has a thin, flat, base. It won’t take up too much space, and our desk is really big.

 The phone costs $40.00 which is good for our $ budget.  We bought it at Canadian Tire, online.  This phone has one line, therefore it will only be used for our business.  This phone comes with speakerphone and Caller-ID. The large buttons will be good for our eyesight.

 In our home office, we will have a separate phone line.  The phone line will not be connected to the home phone line, but will be one dedicated to business only.  This is ergonomically friendly because it will make our business look efficient.

 It is better to have a separate phone line.  This way, children or other family member will not answer the calls.  If you are running a business, you would want people to think that it’s real.  By having one phone line, customers may get the idea that you business isn’t real.

 For our home office, we have decided to brighten the lights.  This will not hurt our eyes, but make it better for us to see.  We will also paint the wall a light green colour because it isn’t too bright, but it will enhance the room’s lighting.  It is better to have a lighter wall colour than a darker one because this will make the room more luminous.

 This is ergonomically correct.  Our office is situated where we can get little of the sun’s light.  We will need to set up overhead lights that fill most of the area to make it better for our eyes.  Since there is no direct sunlight, having desk lamps will enhance the amount of light.

 We will hang a clock on the wall.  This is ergonomically friendly because when we’re at home, we tend to forget the time.  It is important to know the time, therefore you can get the 8 hours of rest between shifts.  Our lighting will also ensure that we will not strain our eyes by looking at the clock.

 We were given $5,000 to spend.  Of that money, we spent $4,  We are left with $
