Pendulum Post-Lab As this increases … … the period increasesdecreasesstays same M A L TEAM HYPOTHESIS: As this increases … … the period increasesdecreasesstays same M A L TEAM CONCLUSION:

Pendulum Post-Lab LAB REPORT: Complete blank report on pg 4 PURPOSE — WHY did you do the lab? You may use info from “Objectives”. Be sure to include your hypotheses. METHODS — HOW did you do the lab? Someone else should be able to repeat your work. Be sure to include dependent & independent variables, list of equipment, labeled sketch, and measurement procedure. RESULTS — already done on pg 3 (but don’t leave any blanks!) CONCLUSION — Four sentences: Restate hypothesis, summarize methods, state whether hypothesis was right or wrong, express results as physical law.

Pendulum Post-Lab GRAPHING: Neatness counts! Connect with straight lines USING A RULER DO NOT PLOT point at ZERO (we didn’t collect data at M = 0, A = 0, L = 0 — so how can we plot it ???)
