Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment, Malaysia INTRODUCTION Malaysia signed the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change on 9 June 1993 and subsequently ratified the Convention on 13 th July 1994 Signed Kyoto Protocol on 12 th March Ratified the Protocol on 4 th September 2002.
