Setting up a new Document Type for Image Indexing MPTS User Security – controls access to MPTS programs and permissions within SQL databases Windows User Security – controls access to files on the server drives So… Even though an MPTS user has access to the image viewer, they may not have permissions to the individual image directories. This allows administrators to control access to images – by individual user if desired. For example, allow all Assessor users Read access to all Assessor image directories but allow Tax Collector users Read access to just the “Maps” directory.
