This allows administrators to control access to images – by individual user if desired. For example, allow all Assessor users Read access to all Assessor image directories but allow Tax Collector users Read access to just the “Maps” directory.

The best option is to format all filenames for a given document type exactly the same. If you need to switch formats define an additional document type and save the files to a separate directory.
