Test scores are in! The school will begin mailing students’ results THIS WEEK…

ALL 8 th grade students will test in the 4 core subject areas…ELAR, Math, History, and Science. Students MUST pass these tests in order to be promoted to the 9 th grade!!!

Campus-wide testing strategy… Read & reread Underline the question Bracket key words Identify Eliminate 2 wrong answers Select the best answer

Students are given 4 hours to complete each test. Each test will be given on a separate day. We will provide extra #2 pencils and snacks.

Feb. 20 th (Wed.)…Math Feb. 21 st (Thurs.)…Reading Feb. 27 th (Wed.)…Science Feb. 28 th (Thurs.)…History 8: :00

April 2 nd (Tues.)…Math April 3 rd (Wed.)…Reading April 24 th (Wed.)…Science April 25 th (Thurs.)…History *If absent, students will test before the end of the day on Friday.

After school tutorials begin Feb. 12 th and will go until March 21 st. If your child has been selected to attend…please sign the pink form & return it to school ASAP. This time is very valuable! We will review concepts/topics that will be covered on the test.
