Individuals need to be able to make their own food choices based on information and knowledge.

People need to discover the importance of food and nutrition to enhance an individuals overall health and well being. People need to be critical about their attitudes and behaviours towards personal eating and enable them to change to healthy eating habits and promote healthier diets.
