3 Project’s Objectives & Purposes Overall Objective: “To restore street children’s rights to health, education and family care and to preserve these rights for children at risk”. Project Purposes reduce the number of street children through reunification with family if not possible, support with alternative models for care prevent new children to leave home for the street

4 Scope of intervention In total: 50 communities in 10 Provinces Number of street children and children at risk: 5,439 children

6 Comprehensive Model The Project is implementing 5 components: 1.Strengthening of institutional capacity in planning, managing and coordination actions 2.Strengthening of operational capacity of institutions involved 3.Fostering family reunification and social integration 4.Establishing alternative forms of care and education for those children who cannot be united with their families 5.Organizing awareness campaigns and mobilizing interest in preventing/halting the out-flow of street children

11 Project’s results 5,947 children at risk on the street and children at risk provided with counseling services by social workers 1,098 children at risk on the street sustainably reunited with their families
