Accelerated Motion
Newton’s Second Law of Motion (Law of Force)- Net force acting on an object causes the object to accelerate in the direction of the force. -It is determined by size and mass of the object.
Ex: Larger force acting on an object causes a greater acceleration. A larger mass require a greater force to achieve acceleration.
Gravity causes all falling objects to accelerate at 9.8 m/s 2. Acceleration due to gravity is 9.8 m/s 2. This is only for falling objects.
