Seasons and weather

Мета заходу: Освітня: Закріпити вивчену лексику й активізувати її; Навчити діяти в нестандартних ситуаціях. Розвивальна: Розвивати пам'ять учнів, уяву; Розвивати слухову й зорову пам'ять; Розвивати навички аудіювання, говоріння. Виховна: Прищеплювати любов до природи; Виховувати в учнів мовну культуру, інтерес до іноземної мови, навички роботи в команді. Практична: Підвищити інтерес до вивчення англійської мови; Практично використовувати набуті знання для досягнення перемоги; Розширити кругозір учнів; Підвищити мотивацію до вивчення іноземної мови.

Round 4. “ Answer the questions” How many seasons are there in the year? How many months are there in the year? How many days are there in January? How many days are there in September? What month is the shortest? What season is the coldest? What are winter months? What are spring months?

Round 5. “Guess the season” It’s hot. The trees and grass are green. The birds sing songs. Children swim in rivers, play volleyball and football on the green grass. (Summer). It often rains. It’s cool. School begins in this season. Children begin to go to school. There are a lot of fruit and vegetables. (Autumn). It is warm but not hot. There is a lot of water in the streets but it doesn’t snow. The trees and flowers in blossom. Grass is fresh and green. (Spring). It is cold. There is a lot of snow in the trees, on the houses and in the streets. Some animals sleep. Children like skiing, skating and playing snowballs this season. (Winter).
