UNITY IV Project Overview Overall Project mission –Design a rocket with these features : A hybrid propulsion system Fully recoverable Capable of reaching 100,000 ft AGL Payload carrying capacity Meets the safety standards for launch –Build the rocket hardware –Perform ground and flight testing –Cooperate with other universities –Work with industry (U.S.A.F)

Objectives of the first launch of Phase II Launch the rocket to ~10,000 feet AGL Test the following: –Airframe –Oxidizer System –Solid Motor –Recovery System –Avionics Follow-on launches will test: –Flight Termination System –Telemetry System
