Differentiated Technical Assistance: K-12 Schools Based on most recent Ohio accountability measures Tier 1 – Continuous improvement needs – PI 86 or above Tier 2 – Moderate school improvement needs – PI of 72 to 85 Tier 3 – Intensive school improvement needs – PI below 72 – – Diagnostic Review and Corrective Action Plan Tier 4 – Start Up or Incubator Schools <2 yrs. “F” in Value Added demotes school to a lower tier. Complaints, lack of compliance, or other findings may also change a tier designation.
