What is mineral foundation? Mineral foundation is foundation that is made of minerals that help your skin and brings out your natural beauty.

Our question is... What minerals in mineral foundation are actually good for your skin?

You would think that mineral foundation would be 100% natural, but the ingredient Talc, is a non-natural ingredient.

Through our research, we learned that Silica is the only natural mineral and ingredient that help your skin. It also keeps your face healthy and clean from unwanted oils.

We took a survey for all the girls in our class asking if they use mineral foundation and their results from using it.

Results...

Neutrogena Doesn't clog pores. Helps get rid of acne. Doesn't irritate skin.

Maybelline Covers up acne. Doesn't help skin to heal. No change from before put on, to after.

Cover girl Doesn't change skin. Covers up acne. Doesn't help skin heal.

And the best mineral foundation is...

Neutrogena!

Why Neutrogena? It doesn't irritate skin. It clears your acne. Also happens to be a face cleanser and acne treatment company. So they included some of their medicine that helps your skin.

Overall, we learned that Silica, iron oxide, zinc stearate, soy bean flour, and silk powder are the ingredients that help your skin and the answer to our question.
