Luciano Torsi (Arezzo, 27 November 1939) was an Italian painter. Born in Arezzo earth moved as a young man in the city of Livorno. Self-taught, he has been able to correct their mistakes establishing itself professionally in the arts. The "painter of the woods" as defined Torsi, portrays Tuscan landscapes, forests, streams, flowering meadows full of light and color. He held personal exhibitions in many Italian and foreign cities (Lido di Jesolo, Empoli, Rome, Camp Darby, Siena, Viareggio, Florence, Novara, Turin, Pinerolo, Racconigi, Avigliana, Bari, La Spezia and in Lima, Peru, Cincinnati, Toronto, Pensacola, Hall of nations in Paris).
