Such as:  Home address  Name  Age  address

 Don’t play over-rated games because they are not age appropriate unless you are the correct age. If you do, it is illegal and might negatively affect your behaviour and concentration.

 It is fine to chat online but if anyone is mean to you then tell an adult straight away. Also, if anyone ever says meet up, you should always ignore them and tell an adult. It could end bad if you meet a stranger.

Do not accept as friends people you don’t know because they might not be trustworthy. This is someone who lied about their age and used a false photo.

 If someone is mean to you online tell a parent or carer. They can help you sort it out or block them.  If you don’t know how to block people ask a friend or a adult or the situation could get worse.  Thank you for watching our very important presentation.

E-Safety Staying safe online is very important as chatting online can lead to dangerous situations and cyber-bullying.

What is E-safety? E-safety is staying safe on the internet on all types of devices and apps such as: Devices – Tablets, iPads, iPods, iMacs, computers, x boxes, PS3/4 Apps: Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram…

What is Cyberbullying? Cyberbullying is when someone is online and someone sends them a message that is inappropriate, offensive or rude. If you are the victim of cyberbullying you must report it to either your parents/carers, a trusted adult - maybe a teacher, Childline or a friend.

SMART

Tips Only play age-appropriate games/apps What people say online may not always be true Block people if they do anything nasty like horrible comments or rudeness Don’t click on adds that tell you that you have won something Blow the whistle on the VLE if you receive an that you don’t approve of

What is our E-safety motto? STAY SAFE BE E-SAFE!

Thankyou for listening! We hope you have learnt something!

Today Percy is playing on his computer. He has made a new friend but he does not know who he is. Percy has sent a friend request to a random person is that good or bad? Have a guess

Now he has finished sending the friend request it’s time to talk to the person next to you about if this is a good thing or bad thing.

This is not a good thing! Percy does not know this person. if Percy tells him any personal information he is in serious danger! This person could find out about Percy. So what is right? talk to your partner.

  Only play with your friends The right thing to do is only play with people you know and ignore strangers

E-safety is important because the internet is more dangerous than you think, there are some mean people online so always remember the school e-safety motto “stay safe be e-safe”.

Why not to give out your details

The boy plays a game but gives his details; where he lives.

His door bell rung.

The boy opened the door.

At the door there was a robber standing there.

The robber took his credit card.

The robber went to the bank.

The robber got lots of money.

The boy talked to the police.

The stealer was sad. 

Online safety IIf your playing a online game always don’t give out your details. For example;if you are playing a game online and someone asks for your bank details. The person on the other end could go to your bank and steal all your money.
