Parts of a Newspaper

What is a newspaper? A newspaper is a publication that is printed and distributed, usually daily or weekly, and contains local news, Letters to the editor, entertainment, and classified ads.

Classified Ads Advertisements in a newspaper are typically short. Classified ads can be used to buy or sell items. Any person can pay to advertise in a newspaper. People can also look for a job in this section.

Classified ads For sale-when a person had an item to sell. Wanted- When people need a specific item they can ask if anyone has one to sell. Services- when a person is advertising the work they do. Example a painter, plumber, babysitter. Employment-when a business has a job available. When a family needs a babysitter.
