KING SINBAD AND THE FALCON CHARACTERS: KING SINBAD AND THE FALCON WHAT DOES THE KING DO TO HIS FALCON? WHY? -THE KING CUTS OFF THE FALCONS WINGS -THE FALCON WAS STOPPING HIM FROM DRINKING “WATER” (ACTUALLY POISON FROM A SNAKE) WAS THIS TOO RASH?

BACK TO KING YUNAN AND THE DR! WHAT IS THE VIZIER’S REACTION? -VIZIER EXPLAINS HE IS NOT JEALOUS BUT DEVOTED TO THE KING AND HIS SAFETY HOW DOES THE KING REACT TO THE VIZIER AT THIS POINT? -1 ST THE KING IS ANGRY FOR SAYING CRUEL THINGS BUT THEN BEGINS TO BELIEVE THE DOCTOR IS OUT TO DESTROY HIM WHAT DOES DR. DURBAN REQUEST BEFORE HE IS KILLED? -ONE DAY TO SAY GOODBYE TO HIS FAMILY AND GET AFFAIRS IN ORDER HOW IS THE KING KILLED? -THE KING IS TOLD TO READ THE FIRST 3 LINES ON THE LEFT PAGE AND THE DOCTORS HEAD WILL SPEAK TO HIM -THE PAGES WERE STUCK TOGETHER (BY POISON) SO THE KING LICKED THE PAGES TO TURN THEM

BACK TO THE JINNEE THE FISHERMAN TELLS THE TREACHEROUS JINNEE THAT HAD THE KING SPARED THE PHYSICIAN, HE IN TURN WOULD HAVE BEEN SPARED BY ALLAH (GOD). BUT HE REFUSED, AND ALLAH BROUGHT ABOUT THE KING’S DESTRUCTION. THE FISHERMAN TELLS THE JINNEE THAT HAD HE BEEN WILLING TO SPARE THE LIFE OF THE FISHERMAN, THEN ALLAH WOULD HAVE BEEN MERCIFUL TO HIM, AND THE FISHERMAN WOULD HAVE SPARED HIS LIFE. SINCE THE JINNEE SOUGHT TO KILL THE FISHERMAN, THE FISHERMAN THROWS HIM BACK INTO THE SEA

FRAME STORY/MESSAGE FRAME STORY ALL 3 STORIES ARE BEING TOLD BY PRINCESS SHAHARAZAD (SO HER LIFE IS SPARED). A CHARACTER FROM 1 STORY NARRATES THE NEXT BUT ALL ARE CONNECTED TO THE PRINCESS MESSAGE JINNEE/FISHERMAN KING YUNAN/DOCTOR DUBAN KING SINBAD/FALCON ALL CHARACTERS ACTED RASHLY AND WOULD NOT HAVE SUFFERED IF THEY DID NOT OVER REACT
