Presentation transcript:

 To SET APART!  “Set apart for GOD’S SPECIFIC, EXCLUSIVE USE.”  Set apart to live according to God’s DEMANDS and in His SERVICE.

 A vital dimension to any organization is its LEADERSHIP.  It is the CRITICAL ingredient.  People eventually MODEL their leaders.  Intensity and impact of leadership INCREASES in smaller groups.

Leader + Small Group + Time + Intensity = IMPACT!

“A is not above his but everyone who is fully will be like his ” --Luke 6:40 DISCIPLE TEACHER TRAINED TEACHER

 What you are trying to produce in your members must be PARAMOUNT in your life.  A CONSECRATED leader has made a CHOICE to follow Jesus Christ.  It is through OBEDIENCE to GOD evidenced by the CHOICES we make!  Godly LEADERS make godly CHOICES.

 Our goal is to impact LOSTNESS in our community and make DISCIPLES.  We have PROGRAMS, formulas and developed STRATEGIES but nothing works like having CONSECRATED leaders.  As leaders CONSECRATE themselves to God and YIELD to His will, SERVANTHOOD becomes more evident.  It is all about our ATTITUDE!

 Put OTHERS ahead of their own agenda.  Possess the CONFIDENCE to SERVE.  Initiate SERVICE to others.  Are not POSITION-CONSCIOUS.  Serve out of LOVE. By John Maxwell

“The extent of a leader’s depends on the of his or her for others.” —John Maxwell INFLUENCE DEPTH CONCERN

 You will not impact the lives of those you teach unless they know you and about them!  The first of the five C’s is  We try to connect people to our and ultimately to ! LOVE CARE CONNECT GROUP CHRIST

 SATURATE your life with the WORD of GOD!  ABIDE in Him through PRAYER!  WORSHIP both PRIVATE and PUBLIC!  SERVE by using Spiritual Gifts!

 Consecration is not a CEREMONY; it is making GODLY CHOICES!  Paul had CONSECRATED himself to a life of OBEDIENCE to God.  When you exercise SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES daily and let others see a CONSECRATED life, it will be CAUGHT by those you lead.

“Holiness does not consist of mystic speculations, enthusiastic fervors, or uncommanded austerities; It consists in as God And as God.” —John Brown Expository Discourses on 1 Peter THINKINGTHINKS WILLING WILLS
