In 2011 the Newcastle Knights will be offering their Pink Defenders (female members) the opportunity to be part of a very special discount program whilst supporting the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation and their team.  The discount program will offer all Pink Defenders discounts and promotions at businesses across the Hunter when they flash their Pink membership card  Corporate members who purchase season tickets in the new ladies corporate lounge- The Princess Bower, will also receive a Pink membership card as well as a host of extras including a pamper pack at the beginning of the season filled with vouchers and goodies from our associated businesses

The Princess Bower Room

What is a Bower?  The Bower was an attractive and private room intended for the Lady of the Medieval castle.  Often decorated with colourful tapestries, furs bright covers and pillows.  The Lady of the castle was attended in the Bower by her ladies in waiting. The Princess Bower- Ladies Lounge will be located at EnergyAustralia Stadium in the new Western Grandstand. 10 % of all ticket sales from the Princess Bower will be donated to the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation.  Women can indulge in this very special, ladies only corporate lounge accommodating up to 60 people  Enjoy a delightful tapas menu  Sip on champagne and wine  Network with like-minded female business women and professionals  Step into the Powder Room for a personal touch of glamour from the professional onsite stylists from Cage for Hair  Watch the game in style from the undercover outdoor seating area or the comfort of the lounges inside.  A special ‘Ladies Only’ membership. When you choose either a Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze membership, as a female defender you can request an exclusive ‘Pink Defender’ card and be rewarded with a range of discounts and promotions from selected businesses and retailers across the Hunter. 5% of ticket sales to go to the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation. 10% of ticket sales for the Princess Bower room and 5% from all Ticketed membership sales will be donated to the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation.  The Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation is a Newcastle (Hunter) based and founded non-profit organisation, which raises much needed funds to provide information and support for women and men diagnosed with, or being treated for breast cancer in the Hunter, and for their families.  The Foundation is unique as all monies raised are used to support women, men and their families of the Newcastle and Hunter Region only.
