Interesting Facts Some interesting facts about Sacagawea are that she has three mountains, twenty- three monuments, and two lakes named after her. Her son has a pillar and a nearby stream named after him. My last fact is that she has a coin with her face on it. <- That is Pompeys Pillar. It is the one that Clark named after Sacagawea's son's nickname.

Remembering Sacagawea Sacagawea either died on December 20, 1812 at age 25. Or she died on April 9, 1884 at age 100. No one knows. If she did die on December 20, she would have died of a putrid fever. If she died on April 9, 1884, she would have died of old age.
